Volunteer work is the backbone of all the activities organized at the MFRC. It is due to our volunteers’ generosity that we are able to offer a variety of services and activities, which are constantly evolving. And our volunteers find their experience at the MFRC very rewarding!

Volunteer Participation

The volunteers’ involvement in the elaboration, planning, management and improvement of the programs and services is privileged at the Centre. We are able to offer a range of services because of the sustained involvement of the entire team. The MFRC’s volunteer program is open to anyone who wishes to take part in it. You will have the opportunity to meet new people, develop skills, or simply discover something new about yourself.  Any experience you gain can be included in your personal resumé. You are welcome to participate in activities at your own pace according to your availability. We have a common goal:  an interesting stimulating life for the military community.
To recognize the devotion of our volunteers and to convey our appreciation, we organize various training sessions (such as the Volunteer Symposium), a Christmas party and other activities throughout the year.

The volunteers work together to maintain the high quality and diversity of the programs and services, while considering the different expectations and needs of military families.
