The second language training
This program is a 60 or 120-hour second language course. Taught by qualified teachers, the program is offered during fall and winter and is free. A deposit is required to ensure attendance. This deposit is refunded at the end of the session if the students meet the objectives of the course.

The program is offered to military spouses, teenagers (14 and older), children (8-13 years ols), reservists and civilian employees. If you would like more details or to register please call 418-677-7468. When you register for a second language course, you will receive a free licence for the online training program "Tell Me More".
Cost
$60 for military spouses ($50 is reimbursed if you attend 85% of the course)
$110 for civilian employees (non refundable)
$10 for the classification test (refundable if you register)
Day care: Reimbursed 50%
Minimum: A minimum of 6 students
Maximum: A maximum of 12 students
Registration: The registration period will be from August 31st to September 9th, 2010. The classification tests will be during the afternoon and evenings from September 7th to the 11th.
The Online Language Taining Program "Tell Me More"
Are you interested in learning or would you like to improve your knowledge of another language? If so, Tell Me More is the program for you. You can simply login from your own computer and can use the program as much as you need or want. For each language, you are able to practice your listening, reading and writing skills. The program offers you access to over 1000 hours of training which ranges from a beginner to expert level. Simply take the placement test when you login to assess your knowledge and the program will place you in the appropriate level.
